So, here’s the truth, nothing changes your makeup game like a stipple brush. I’ve seen people go crazy about stipple brushes and I simply had to get my hands on one. When e.l.f cosmetics had their awesome sales over Christmas, I got two makeup brushes and I have never been more excited about brushes than about these stipple brushes. I love that the brushes are extremely fluffy and soft and are easy to use. I’ve used it to apply my concealer and it really makes a huge difference hiding dark spots and creating an almost flawless image. I have also noticed that my makeup doesn’t cake when I have used a stippling brush to apply it (as opposed to using my hands).
Here’s what the e.l.f. cosmetics website says:
This new antibacterial, synthetic haired Taklon brush is softer and more ansorbent and can be used with wet or dry products. Be a professional makeup artist and create a flawless look with this e.l.f. Studio brush! The layered bristles create a soft airbrushed look that’s perfect for applying foundation or adding colour definition to cheekbones or highlighting with soft layers. Use this brush with any liquid or powder face product such as foundation, blush or bronzer to build your coverage from sheer to heavy.
I’ve only used this to apply my foundation and my concealer and it works like a gem. It’s much easier to get even coverage using a stippling brush and these brushes are really easy to clean! At $3 per brush, it really is a steal and everyone should have one in their brush collection.
