One of the biggest frustrations my clients face is writing for SEO. I could have been all fancy and title this workbook “the art of writing for SEO”, but the truth is, there is no art.
You read that right. Writing for SEO is a easy task when you understand the basics. And trust me when I say the basics are easy to understand and to implement. Why? Because it (mostly) all boils down to the basic principles of writing we’ve learnt in primary school.
When it comes to search engine optimisation, it is best-practice to remember to write for your readers first, and THEN to focus on search engines.
Why?
Because your readers are the ones who will be using your website.
I created this workbook to show you how to write for SEO without making your content sound like it was written for a robot.
Search engines love copy that is easy to read and easy to understand. And guess who also loves content like this? You reader! If the copy reads sloppy, your readers will think your work is sloppy and you will most-likely lose out on that much needed conversion.
Use this workbook as a guide for writing SEO content and for making notes of interesting SEO-things you learn along the way.
Even though SEO algorithms change often, the basic principles of writing still counts and every update emphasises the importance of good copywriting for search engine ranking results.
